Art Exhibits

The Timmins Public Library facilitates art exhibits as part of its programming and partnership efforts. Applications from individuals and organizations seeking to display art are also welcomed.

Preference will be given to exhibitors who live or work in Timmins.

Please note that art exhibits are not the main focus of the Library and that exhibitors/artists looking for a professional venue will be directed to the Timmins Museum: National Exhibition Center.

Guidelines

All artwork and displays must be family-friendly.

Applications for exhibits will be reviewed based on the suitability of the space and the level of community interest.

Artists are required to provide information about themselves and their artwork, and all works must be ready for installation, as the library will handle the installation process.

Exhibits can last anywhere from one week to three months, and there are no fees associated with these displays. Artists have the option to label their works for sale, and the library does not take any commission on sales.

Displays are not monitored, and the library does not take any commission on sales.
